Three markets under one name

"Corporate video" in Dubai is sold by three kinds of supplier, and their prices barely overlap. Compare inside one band, not across them. All figures below are published asking prices, checked on 13 October 2026; no authority publishes corporate video statistics.

Add-ons that change the total

Studio502 publishes its add-ons, which makes it a useful yardstick: extra shoot hour AED 500, extra location AED 1,200, drone AED 1,500, 48-hour rush edit AED 2,000, EN/AR subtitles AED 400, extra revision round AED 600. Big Story charges AED 2,500 for a one-week rush on a company profile. Explainer revisions beyond two rounds run AED 500–1,000 each, and music and voice licensing AED 1,500–3,000.

Three worked budgets

1. Founder interview for LinkedIn. Studio502 interview package AED 8,000 + EN/AR subtitles AED 400 = AED 8,400. The same brief from a solo operator: AED 2,000–4,000. The difference buys a second camera, lighting and a sound recordist; for a talking head in a quiet office, a solo operator is often enough.

2. Two-location company profile with drone exterior. Crewed day at AED 12,000–18,000 + extra location AED 1,200 + drone AED 1,500 + DFTC (now the Dubai Films and Games Commission) permit processing AED 520 = AED 15,220–21,220, before any location fee for public exteriors.

3. 60-second product explainer in English and Arabic. Standard 2D at Skimbox's AED 3,000–9,000 per minute + 15–20% for the Arabic version = AED 3,450–10,800, plus music if not included. No filming permit applies to animation.

What nobody tells you

Most overruns come from changes after the shoot. videography.ae says corporate budgets overrun almost always because the brief changed after filming. Get every approver to sign the script or question list before the shoot day.

Lump-sum quotes hide the missing lines. Ask each supplier for the same list: shoot days, locations, interviewees, finished films with lengths, cut-downs, motion graphics, revision rounds, turnaround, overtime rate, and who owns the raw footage.

Social music licences break in paid ads. A track cleared for organic social can become a problem when the same video runs as an ad or on a broadcast screen. Check the term and territory.

Arabic is a production stage, not an export. For government, healthcare and banking audiences, plan the Arabic version from the start; a native Arabic interview is a different shoot from English with Arabic captions. Our guide to Arabic language requirements in UAE ads covers when it is required.

Source files are often not yours. For animation, ask whether you receive the project files; without them, every later edit goes back to the same studio.

Questions people ask

What is the average cost of a corporate video in Dubai?

There is no official average. Published prices cluster in three bands: AED 2,000–7,000 from a solo operator, AED 8,000–18,000 for a crewed production day, and AED 30,000+ for a scripted brand film.

How much does an Arabic version add?

For animation, SL Media budgets 15–20% on top and 1–2 extra weeks, about AED 1,500 of it for the voice track; Skimbox puts a short Arabic voiceover from AED 550. For live action, Studio502 adds EN/AR subtitles for AED 400; Big Story includes captions.
