The benchmark problem
Ask three Dubai agencies what a LinkedIn click costs and you get three answers. Santa Media reports AED 6–15 for broad B2B targeting and AED 20–45 for tight C-suite lists. Hikmah reports AED 25–75. Clozer reports AED 35–90, with cost per lead around AED 300–500. None of these is official data; they're each agency's campaigns.
| Source | LinkedIn CPC (AED) | LinkedIn CPL (AED) | Minimum useful budget |
|---|---|---|---|
| Santa Media | 6–15 broad; 20–45 C-suite | 80–350; SaaS 120–280 | AED 3,000/month |
| Hikmah | 25–75 | 300–1,800 | AED 5,000/month |
| Clozer | 35–90 | 300–500 | AED 5,000/month |
The honest conclusion: your own numbers will land somewhere in that spread, and the click price matters less than what happens after the click. So measure the metric that pays salaries: cost per qualified meeting.

Worked example: cost per qualified meeting
Round numbers you can replace with your own:
| Step | LinkedIn Lead Gen | Google Search |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly budget | AED 10,000 | AED 10,000 |
| Cost per lead (assumption within reported ranges) | AED 300 | AED 250 |
| Leads | 10,000 ÷ 300 ≈ 33 | 10,000 ÷ 250 = 40 |
| Qualified (assumption: 30% / 40%) | ≈ 10 | 16 |
| Meetings booked (assumption: 60%) | 6 | ≈ 10 |
| Cost per meeting | ≈ AED 1,667 | 10,000 ÷ 9.6 ≈ AED 1,042 |
Now change one thing: answer every lead within five minutes and book the meeting in the first reply. If that lifts "meetings booked" from 60% to 80%, the LinkedIn cost per meeting drops to about AED 1,250 (10,000 ÷ 8) without touching the ad account. Follow-up is the cheapest step to fix, which is why we automate it first.
The four pipeline sources
| Source | What it does | What to build |
|---|---|---|
| Founder-led content | Trust with buyers who aren't searching yet | 2–3 LinkedIn posts a week from the founder or a product expert; short video demos |
| Paid: LinkedIn | Reach named accounts and senior roles | Lead Gen Forms, document ads, retargeting; account lists |
| Paid: Google | Capture active search ("CRM for real estate UAE") | Tight keyword lists, landing pages per use case |
| Events | Meet buyers in person, film content | Pre-booked meetings, side events, content from the floor |

GITEX: plan it like a sales campaign
GITEX GLOBAL moves to Expo City Dubai on 7–11 December 2026. For a B2B tech company it's the year's densest week of buyers in one place, and the most expensive if treated as a brand exercise.
- October–November: list target accounts, message them for meetings during the show week, publish content they'll see before they arrive.
- Show week: film short interviews and demos on the floor; collect contacts with explicit consent for follow-up.
- The week after: every contact gets a personal follow-up within 48 hours; content from the show runs as ads to the same account list.
Our UAE events calendar lists the other dates worth planning for.
What nobody tells you: lead data has rules
- Badge scans are not marketing consent. The UAE's telemarketing rules (Cabinet Resolutions 56 and 57 of 2024) cover marketing messages on messaging apps, require opt-in and set fines of AED 10,000–150,000, as summarised by Wiro. Ask permission at the booth, in writing.
- PDPL is in force. Federal Decree-Law 45 of 2021 makes consent the main basis for processing personal data. Your website forms, cookies and privacy policy need to match; see our PDPL website guide and WhatsApp marketing rules.
- Arabic opens enterprise and government doors. Many B2B buyers read English, but procurement documents and public-sector buyers often expect Arabic.

Vladimir Chernyshev, GM: pipeline is a system, not a channel
Opinion. Tech founders in Dubai often ask which channel is best. The question assumes one channel can carry the business. Pretty brand videos and a GITEX booth don't fill a pipeline on their own. A system does: founder content that builds trust, ads aimed at named accounts and live search, events used for meetings, a website that answers buyers' questions, and follow-up within minutes, with every lead in a CRM. Our Moldova meat producer project cut the deal cycle from three months to three weeks with that kind of system and no ad budget (results on our home page).
B2B tech checklist
- Track cost per qualified meeting for every channel.
- Founder or expert posts on LinkedIn every week.
- LinkedIn tests only with enough budget to learn; Lead Gen Forms first.
- Google landing pages per use case.
- GITEX meetings booked in October, follow-up within 48 hours.
- Written consent for every marketing contact.
- Every lead answered within minutes and logged in the CRM.
